In the beginning our unit was comprised of men of which some were near the end of their overseas tour while others just began. It included the "lifers", those who had re-enlisted to make it a career and then there was the rest of us. Being one of the latter and no intention of staying one day more than necessary my countdown commenced immediately. Too be continued......
